Caticlan Airport - Recommended Route of choice - Practical Choice
- Flight time is shorter - flight times ranging from just 35 mins. to 45 mins.
- Transfers to Caticlan Boat Jetty from airport only 2-5 mins travel time.
- Seair airlines has approximately 20 flights a day.
- Overall fastest route to Boracay.
- Planes size ranging from 19 seat to 32 seat.(Dornier 328 - German built)
Kalibo Airport - NON Recommended Route
- Flight time is longer - Flight Time approximately 1 hour.
- Transfers from Kalibo to Caticlan Boat Jetty - 2 hours by bus.
- Less flights - Minimal Choice between all the airlines a day. Terrible return times causing clients to loose half a day.
- Longest route taking many hours longer than the Caticlan Route.
- If bus breaks down, delay will be astronomical. Caticlan route you can easily be transferred immediately upon breakdown.
- Older planes, but bigger - 150 seat Jet Aircraft.
